Woohoo!!! We are rolling again!
The forecast tomorrow is 100% chance of rain, 3/4 inch expected, high of 52, winds north 13-18 with gusts to 25. I’ve never been so excited to ride in such crappy weather.
One could list all of the negatives about Amazon, just like people do for Walmart. But Amazon comes through for me, so I cannot verbally bash them. My gear arrives around noon. To me it is impressive that I ordered the items at 8 pm on Wed and have them at 12 pm on Friday, in a tiny little town in the middle of nowhere just 30 miles from the Canadian border.
The guys try to convince me to keep the packaging material as air beds for them, arguing it won’t add weight. But I overrule the Commander, my argument based on the downside of increased pannier volume. Packing cells do not come.
New tube goes in. Pump works. And we are good to go again.
