We rolled over mile 2000 today on our quest to ride 4000 miles this year.
We had to do day rides in light rain yesterday and five miles of drizzle today to get in the last 52 miles… but I was determined to get to the halfway point today instead of having to wait until next weekend.
I haven’t recorded the miles here – since this is just meant to keep track of loaded rides completed in our goal. However, I wanted to note the halfway point somewhere – so this seems as good as any.
It was a very drab day and just a day ride… so nothing exciting for the 2,000 mile mark. Maybe we’ll do better at 3,000. Stay tuned 🙂
